Washington Elite AI & Blockchain Summit, Nov 30-Dec 1, 2018

It was the time to discuss real-world applications of the technology. Co-hosted by the Government Blockchain Association, on November 30- December 1, The Washington Elite AI Summit brought together leaders from federal and state Governments, along with business innovators and start-ups, to share the newest advances in Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Blockchain. There were over 40 Top Tier Exhibitors showcasing everything from ICO’s to financial services.
Our CEO, Babu Munagala was invited as a speaker at the event.

Section III: Our Solution
Marriott Data Breach
Starwood Hotels, a subsidiary of Marriott International confirmed that its hotel guest database of about 500 million customers has been stolen in a data breach. Stolen records include names, address, email address, phone number, date of birth, passport number and encrypted credit card information of its guests which is very sensitive, important and significant information.
Marriott disclosed on Friday that the unauthorized access to its guest database was detected on September 10, 2018 and they learned during the investigation that there had been unauthorized access to the Starwood network since 2014.
Some 327 million records contained guest’s name, postal address, phone number, date of birth, gender, email address, passport number, Starwood’s rewards information, arrival and departure information, reservation date, and their communication preferences. An unknown number of records contained encrypted credit card numbers and expiry dates. However, Marriott has not been able to rule out that the components needed to decrypt this data wasn’t also taken. Marriott said, it is setting up a website and call center to answer questions of the guests. They will be sending emails to affected guests so that they can put a freeze on their credit inquiries.
The New York State Attorney General has already opened an investigation into the Marriott breach and asked the company to provide the information on how many New Yorkers will be impacted directly. Starwood may face heavy financial penalties of up to 4% of its global annual revenue as the international data breach falls under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Zebi AI Chain:

Zebi AI Chain (Hotel App) has been released on 27th November 2018 and over 200 hotels are using the updated app.
Brief functionalities of Zebi AI Chain Hotel App:
1. Hotels can do check-ins and check-outs.
2. Specially designed for hotels to perform instant check-ins at hotels by scanning user’s Zebi ID QR Code.
3. Information is securely sent to blockchain in fully encrypted mode.
4. This app will also work offline and send the check-in information to Zebi server once the device connects to internet.
