Zeo Route Planner
Zeo Auto has decided to make route planning features free for anybody to use. The features would be accessible to any individual or business via the Zeo route planner app — (Link).
Many traditional businesses providing essential services need to quickly reorient themselves to delivery only during lockdown. With large anticipated orders, route planning would ensure efficient deliveries and also make sure that the delivery executives spend minimum time outside.
For traditional businesses who currently do not have access to any route planning software, we have made our offerings free. This works on the same algorithms which we use to provide the most optimised route to our fleets.
- Creating your first route
After logging in click on “ Edit Route” to create your first route.
2. Enter start point, stops and end point
- Start Location — Usually the location of the shop/ hub.
2. End location — Would usually be same as start location or the house address of the delivery executive if doing the last delivery of the day.
3. Stops — Add the address of all the locations for drop offs. Since Google addresses are used, finding and adding an address is extremely easy.
In addition to these 3 there is also the tab for naming the trip. This may be useful if you want to see historical delivery runs or save a route on which delivery is made multiple times.
Your screen would look something like this after all the routes are entered.
Click “Done” on the top right corner after all the information has been added.
3. Getting the best possible route
Click on the Optimize route button to get the best possible route.

Use the “Navigation” button to switch to google maps to navigate your vehicle. Once you have reached the stop, click “Done” to reach the next location.
4. Creating a new route or seeing already created routes
Click on the hamburger menu and select “My routes” to see past entered routes and stops. A new route can be created by selecting “New Route”.
The app can be accessed on the playstore by searching for Zeo Route Planner.
