You Need to Get Your Hands Dirty

How do you start a business?
How do you grow with social media?
How do you meet inspiring, successful people and get them to do an interview with you?
As a growing entrepreneur, I’ve discovered that you only really get anywhere by doing and trying things. You need to get your hands dirty. Sure, you’ll get some bumps and bruises along the way, but that’s how you learn!
I certainly do think it’s helpful to have mentors, take courses on Udemy or similar platforms, and read business books. I’ve done all that and I still avidly keep up with blogs and podcasts in my industry so that I can stay current.
But, I realize the best way for me and many other people to learn is by throwing yourself into the deep end and figuring out how to swim (please, don’t literally try that).
Some of us are too scared to get started. We’d rather be students our whole lives. Some of us are impulsive and rush headlong into things without minimizing unnecessary risks.
I believe the key to success lies in striking some sort of happy medium.
