IOST Mainnet Token Burn | 7.35 Billion ERC-20 Tokens Successfully Burnt
IOST Mainnet Olympus v1.0 was officially launched on February 25, 2019. Since the first mainnet release, IOST has attracted more than 400 partner nodes from more than 20 countries around the world. 7,350,000,000 ERC-20 tokens were burnt by the Foundation on March 12, 2020, marking it the eighth successful batch of IOST ERC-20 tokens burnt.

- Second Round: 5,135,325,031 IOST ERC-20 tokens successfully burnt on March 8.
- Third Round: 1,554,755,204 IOST ERC-20 tokens successfully burnt on March 13.
- Fourth Round: 2,082,946,604 IOST ERC-20 tokens successfully burnt on April 10.
- Fifth Round: 494,671,677 IOST ERC-20 tokens successfully burnt on April 26 and 29.
- Sixth Round: 155,474,906 IOST ERC-20 tokens successfully burnt on May 8.
- Seventh Round: 123,805,116 IOST ERC-20 tokens successfully burnt on June 19.
- Eighth Round: 7,350,000,000 IOST ERC-20 tokens successfully burnt on March 12.

As of today, a total of 19,066,978,538 ERC 20 tokens have been burnt and successfully swapped to mainnet tokens, reaching 90.8% of the total IOST circulation in one year after the mainnet launch.
It can be said that IOST has completed the destruction of all ERC 20 tokens except for some exchanges and users who have not taken the initiative to swap and destroy tokens. For the exchanges pending with the destruction of IOST ERC 20 Token, IOST will publicize it to community members in a timely manner. Olympus v3.3.2 is now running steadily with over 400 Partner nodes, reaching 65,696,684 block height and 251,059,364 transactions as of 14:30 March 9, 2020, Beijing time, voting ratio stably close to 35%, 750 tokens issued and 706 smart contracts.
