No one ever says this. We want the world to change for the better but we don’t acknowledge that there is still great power to be gained with violence. How will we ever change people when someone with no empathy can so easily disrupt and control our lives? We are all still rightly ruled by fear because humans have not evolved beyond pain and death yet. Until violence has no impact on others, it will never cease. Until there is nothing to be gained by controlling others, people will never stop their endless clawing to the top.
