These were once just a spark in someones imagination. But how does these ideas come about? What does it take for someone to someone to hit upon that one great idea that changes everything.
Necessity is the mother of inventions, right? Well, not always.
Steven Johnson shows us that necessity is not always the mother of invention. Sometimes its just people having fun and creating something just for the hell of it. When people are having fun and being creative great things can happen.
