5 year old ‘Transitions’
Kids traumatized
Omgs. Here’s the article:
Kids Traumatized…. That says a lot.
Before I weigh as not only a parent, but as someone who has worked with kids of this age, here is what is going on.
It all starts with these two books →

These two books were read during a lesson on transgender-ism. The lesson was to help explain the transitioning of someone in the class, a boy who was transitioning into a girl.
But the lesson did not stop with the books.
Apparently, the teacher also held a “Transitioning ceremony” for the child. The teacher introduced him to the class as a boy, he then went into the bathroom and came back out as a girl.
According to school officials, The books were age appropriate and that the school’s non-discrimination policy “protects all students, including on the basis of gender, gender identity and gender expression.”, Stated in a letter sent out by the school’s principal. The letter did not mention the ceremony o the fact that the boy was presented to his classmates as a girl afterward.
The district superintendent stated that the parents were not notified of the lesson because “ kids can’t opt out of gender identity and expression lessons.” This, to them, does not classify as sex ed.
This is where hell breaks loose.
A number of kids from the class were deeply traumatized by this; Some girls going home crying to their parents asking “am I going to turn into a boy?”
Parents are obviously furious. I mean, how exactly would you feel after you child comes to you crying and scared to use the bathroom now because they think they may come out as the opposite gender. Kids who never gave gender a second thought, are now constantly thinking about it confused.
Some parents have pulled their children from the school and a petition is also circulating, asking that parental consent be given before giving lessons on certain topics.
The fact is, children this age are very sensitive and can take things VERY LITERAL. Transitioning, is not something that they would fully understand.
Much like sex, the economy, politics.
There are many things in this world that children, at certain ages, are incapable of understanding. Accept it.
