Dunkin’ Donuts

WTF

You guys will never believe what excuse Dunkin’ Donuts has given in response to one of their stores employees refusing service to two NYPD dectives.

Oh get ready for this.

According to the NY Post D&D spokes person Michelle King said “the store’s configuration ‘put both the crew members and two officers in a difficult situation because it was not clear where to order,’ adding there are two registers, but only one is routinely staffed.”

So you are telling me these men were not standing in line like originally reported? And no one standing in line behind them noticed this either? Also if it wasn’t a line why would the employee state “I know. I don’t serve cops.” when told these men were here before the person he was trying to serve.

“Basically, Dunkin’ Donuts is saying that the two officers in the store were too stupid to know where to order — while every other customer came in and knew where to order,”- Ed Mullins.

Mullins is right, it is an insult to the cops intelligence.

The boycott that was called for in response to the police’s treatment seems to be going strong. Many have seen officers holding trays of what looks to be Bodega coffee or other such cups. One officer, when asked where the closest D&D was, apologized because he wasn’t going to answer their question.

D&D locations across NYC have reported that they have seen no cops in their stores since the boycott started. Stores that used to see anywhere between 5 and 40 cops a day, now see none.

And they are not the only ones boycotting the restaurant chain:
