Hoping to turn things Around
This week for my Digital Storytelling Media; I took a look at the newest Chipotle animated ad. In the past Chipotle has used animated shorts to tell stories about the whole foods vs industrial farming on going debate. I feel like their methods have been extremely effective in getting big picture messages across with animation; and this video does not fall short. As a ploy to increase their recent decline in sales, Chipotle released this short about two young kids (who are destined to be in love) starting separate fresh lemonade and orange juice stands, which build into, .99 cents processed food and artificially sweetened beverages fast food chains, to ultimately ditch their respective chains and to open an all natural taco restaurant together.
