Well written Lola, and while I certainly am empathetic towards your feelings, it’s important to note that the premise of this film is that a trans woman and a straight man fall in love. They don’t allow society to dictate the way they feel about each other. In my opinion, this puts not just the trans community, but humanity as a whole, in a great and redeeming light.

There are always going to be social injustices, especially in Hollywood. You can’t devour the whole thing in one bite. It’s a process, and I think “Anything’s” plot is a step in the right direction.
