How I learned how to record a Periscope live stream, part 2.
Tauhid Chappell

I’ve been analyzing live streams off the sites that web viewers use to view scopes. It looks like scope streams get pushed out in chunks, so there are multiple video chunks that have separate urls. I was able to record snippets by using curl and outputting to .flv files (shot in the dark approach but it worked). I was doing this using firebug/firefox on a desktop system. I might try an adb shell with my Android phone to see what else I can dig up.
