The above interview took place in fall of 2013 after Max Blumenthal resigned from the Lebanese newspaper Al Akhbar. At the time, Blumenthal penned a resignation letter titled, “The Right to Resist Is Universal: A Farewell to Al Akhbar and Assad’s Apologists.”
The interview below took place one week ago, not long after Blumenthal was paid by the Kremlin to attend a Russia Today anniversary celebration.
So the man who once insisted that the right to resist is universal now insists that right to first responders is not universal. The man who resigned from a newspaper in disgust at their pushing Assadist propaganda is now pushing Assadist propaganda.
