Amazing story Tom Farr. I really liked the flow — so tense, so moving. Grandfather split between his love for his daughter, whom he thinks he has lost but hopes he can bring back, and his responsibility towards his granddaughter lived throughout the story. Perfect story telling.

By the way, did the ending keep it open for a sequel? I think so, and I would love it.
