A few years ago when I was a kid in high school, I loved playing, I didn’t study, I never went to class, and got a big F in most of my tests, I had to double a year to be able to pass with a percentage of 50% of the full mark, but I always knew that I wanted to go computer science, of course with my grade it was impossible and my family didn’t want to pay because they don’t believe a kid who doubled a year in high school can do anything in CS, So what I did was to simply put all of them in my “motherfuckers to prove wrong” list, and carry on, two years later, I was able to get a job with a good salary and got myself in a private CS school.

A few years after, I decided that this school wasn’t teaching me anything I couldn’t learn on my own, if anything , it was preventing me from learning alot of stuff with all the damn bureaucracy, in the same time I decided to leave the high paying sales job to go self-learn CS, and try to land a programming job. People at work, home and school thought I was crazy, and told me it will never work, so I put them all on my MTPW list and later it did, I learned programming, got tons of freelance work, and didn’t really die from dropping out of college.

Almost a year and a half ago, we decided to start a company, we had a very rough year, checking about all the checklist of mistakes that startups usually make, and of course my MTPW list grew exponentially, but we both know the ending to this story.
