The Seven Life Departments
Strengths are created to be encouraged, promoted and fed. Fueling your strengths, enables you to further commute into a life long journey of a transformation into a greater you. Ultimately we are all on a journey to something bigger and better, but the change starts deep down from within. Choice, not chance, it all comes down to the decisions you make. You can choose to be this or that, or simply be or do. Whatever the path, one thing which is common for all and static without choice, is your Seven Life Departments.
Your individual life is broken up into these “departments” which help drive your overall success. These are in no particular order, but they all come with their own set of boundaries, rules and understanding. Each one impacts another, while they also stand strong independently.
- Work and career
- Mind/intellect (personal and educational development)
- Physical health
What you need to focus on is firstly understanding what each one of these mean to you. Followed by identifying on a very regular basis of how you tracking in each one. Seriously. Pause and reflect today and rate each one between 1 and 10. One being… this is lacking big time and 10 being you are on fire and kicking goals.
You should do the below:
- Observe what you are doing right
- Highlight any relevant habits (good and bad)
- Understand your why behind all these and how it affects your choices
- Identify a clear why for the areas you want to work on

If you are capable and consistent in one thing, you can be capable and consistent in multiple things. Thomas Edison said, “If we did all the things we are capable of, we would literally astound ourselves.”
