Part 1 :

What is death ?

is it the end of a life or, is it a new beginning of another life ?

is it the separation of soul from body or is it the addition of soul with the cosmos/nature ?

For me : In the midst of life’s uncertainties, death is one thing that is certain.

There are many theories, views, philosophies, scriptures, books in which this topic is mentioned/discussed.

According to Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 2, Verse 13

देहिनोऽस्मिन्यथा देहे कौमारं यौवनं जरा |

तथा देहान्तरप्राप्तिर्धीरस्तत्र न मुह्यति ||

“Just as the embodied soul continuously passes from childhood to youth to old age, similarly, at the time of death, the soul passes into another body.

The wise(self-realized soul) are not deluded(bewildered) by such a change.”

In simpler words : “All our subtle desires dissolve in our mind, and that mind carries us to a new body”

Which is also known as trans-migration of the soul.
