The quality of Artificially Intelligent models is only as good as the data used to train the AI, i.e. GIGO (Garbage In, Garbage Out). This much is obvious. What is not so obvious is that the AI also needs to be “inclusive”. AIs needs to be trained on a real presentation of humanity in all its diversity.

We have recently grown aware of flaws and fallacies, in the way the industry has conducted traditional clinical trials. “In a study conducted by UC Davis, researchers found that less than 5% of all trial participants are non-white.” We should be all determined not to repeat these mistakes.

At doc.ai, we are using computer vision as well as natural language understanding for the collection of medical data on the Neuron Network in a new kind of AI-powered UX. One piece of our technology, is “Selfie2BMI”, a picture that autopopulates health data so the user doesn’t have to laboriously fill in. We’ve already trained our algorithm on more than 1 million faces, but we need more in order to create an Inclusive AI and it still has a lot to learn about human diversity. That’s where you come in — we need to train our AI with diverse faces. With your help, we can make AI more inclusive.

The $NRN Crowdsale

By now we have raised significant funding from our tokensale that is sufficient to deliver on our initial vision of the project. We have started building the network imbued with our own cryptocurrency, the NEURON ($NRN).

Our crowdsale is closing on Wednesday October 12th by the end of the day PDT time. If you have not had a chance to participate yet we encourage you to do so via our tokensale website.

For investors who are unable to use the Civic app, we have now opened the crowdsale for registrations without the Civic app. If you have any technical problems, please contact us at support@doc.ai.

If you have not read it yet, we highly recommend that you browse our tokenomics paper as well as our official whitepaper, for details on doc.ai’s network and decentralizing AI to unlock health data. Also we like to share again both videos covering the series of use cases from both the patients and the healthcare companies.

You can follow us on a variety of channels Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin and of course Telegram.
