Does Everyone Deserve the Right to Vote?

As election season is around the corner, Virginia is only able to give a few prisoners the right to vote. As usual, it becomes a debate between Democrats and Republicans, as the latter claims this is the Democrats attempt at giving more votes to Hillary Clinton. The prisoners want the right to vote, many of them filing for voting rights twice now.

Feuding for the just the Bathroom?

LGBT issues are sitting at the desk of many politicians, especially in the state of Virginia as the state’s Supreme Court takes on Fairfax County’s school bathroom policy. The two opposing sides have valid points on the comfortableness of students, but is the comfortableness of LGBT students or those who just don’t support their rights? As the issue comes to the federal level, it begins to leave the state’s and counties’ at the question of what are their rights to fight it.

Natural, but Someone has to Pay for it.

As the transition for the state of Virginia to take over Natural Bridge, it is wrought with many financial concerns. The Virginia Conservation Legacy Fund has missed payments, also owing money to different banks and the Virginia Resources Authority. While the natural landmark will eventually become donated property as a state park, it needs to, first, find the means to bring in a different annual income, and with plans in the mix to do so, it is something that only time will tell whether they will be able to pull themselves out of the gutter.
