You’re confusing marketing announcements with version updates.

Everything you want people to use needs some marketing. Some announcement that says, “Look, we made a thing. Come check it out!”

And those announcements progress on a different timetable from version updates. I’ve gone through several version updates in a single day. I don’t consider those the same thing as a public release (which might involve some press or posting to EchoJS or something).

Starting to grok the difference?
