Today I want to share the first public Adobe Lightroom preset of mine which I named here “Ao” that means blue in Japanese.

The post of @meistershots on Instagram to announce the release of the bundle (Captured by my iPhone 6.)

In accordance with the kind invitation from @mylifeisdopeandidodopeshit from @meistershots on Instagram, it’s collected and provided as free bundle with 30 photography enthusiasts / photographers including me for the thank you gift to the photography community — named “Make Tones Great Again Free Preset Bundle.”

I’ve been asked for many times “What camera do you use?” and “How do you edit your photo?” as comment on Instagram, so I wish this can be one of the answers to those questions. It’s available to download for free from the link:

The approach I did to the preset was:

- “The world is in DEEP blue” color filtered.
- Enhance sharpness and clarity as my #f7aopreset posts on Instagram

Here are the examples. I tested a variety of photos for this preset which include day / night cityscape, droplets, architecture, etc to get as much same result as possible.

Shot with Canon 6D / ISO 1000, 40mm, F4.5, 1/40 sec. (Left: Original / Right: Preset Applied)
Shot with Canon 6D / ISO 160, 24mm, F4.5, 1/8 sec. (Left: Original / Right: Preset Applied)
Shot with Canon 6D / ISO 200, 24mm, F10, 13 sec. (Left: Original / Right: Preset Applied)
Shot with Canon 6D / ISO 100, 24mm, F10, 1/50 sec. (Left: Original / Right: Preset Applied)
Shot with RICOH GR / ISO 100, 18.3mm, F3.2, 1/100 sec. (Left: Original / Right: Preset Applied)
Shot with Canon 6D / ISO 400, 24mm, F4.5, 1/40 sec. (Left: Original / Right: Preset Applied)

To support photos of many color ranges, I set this preset with a little biased blue colored tone. As you can see these images, toplight is a little darken and the darker range is raised up to show more detail.

Of course you need Adobe Lightroom installed, I hope you guys could enjoy editing your photos with it, and will be glad if you make comments for the feeling of use. Also have fun with the ones created by other photographers. Worth trying.
