Do those two things every day, and have thousands of new ideas

There are two types of people: those who have more ideas than hair, and those who find it difficult to create something new.

In order to create something totally new there is no need to invent something from the ground up. Sometimes it is enough just to combine existing solutions, or apply them to a new problem.

I am the first type. My list of ideas is so long I do not even know what page at Google Docs I’m on right now. Nevertheless, I’m still looking for something new, and those 2 things help me everyday.

Read ProductHunt newsletter

Subscribe for ProductHunt newsletter and click every link in the daily news. This is the place where start-ups from around the globe publish their ongoing projects.

You will find there: great ideas, crazy ideas, no-way ideas and crappy ideas. Sometimes you will find also no-ideas projects, but it doesn’t matter at this point. Your brain is processing all those ideas, and if you are lucky, you will come up with your own __-idea.

Browse Github

I can browse Github pages all day long, star projects and read docs. People do amazing things in the open-source community. There are hundreds of great software solutions that can be applied to new things.

Sometimes I think that every idea can be implemented using just a few lines of code that can glue Github projects together.

I hope I have inspired you to find your great idea. We still need to change the world and make it a better place, don’t we?

Be less curious about people and more curious about ideas. /Marie Curie/
