Blog Project #2

One Love! One Heart!
Let’s get together and feel all right.
Hear the children cryin’ (One Love!);
Hear the children cryin’ (One Heart!),
Sayin’: give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right;
Sayin’: let’s get together and feel all right. Wo wo-wo wo-wo!

Let them all pass all their dirty remarks (One Love!);
There is one question I’d really love to ask (One Heart!):
Is there a place for the hopeless sinner,
Who has hurt all mankind just to save his own beliefs?

One Love! What about the one heart? One Heart!
What about — ? Let’s get together and feel all right
As it was in the beginning (One Love!);
So shall it be in the end (One Heart!),
All right!
Give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right;
Let’s get together and feel all right.
One more thing!

Let’s get together to fight this Holy Armagiddyon (One Love!),
So when the Man comes there will be no, no doom (One Song!).
Have pity on those whose chances grows t’inner;
There ain’t no hiding place from the Father of Creation.

Sayin’: One Love! What about the One Heart? (One Heart!)
What about the — ? Let’s get together and feel all right.
I’m pleadin’ to mankind! (One Love!);
Oh, Lord! (One Heart) Wo-ooh!

Give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right;
Let’s get together and feel all right.
Give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right;
Let’s get together and feel all right.

Format: Song Lyrics

Audience: International Listeners

Purpose: To argue unity between people.

Effectiveness: These lyrics effectively shows the purpose through Marley’s use of poetry. He wrote this song during the dangerous 1976 elections in Jamaica. Through lyrics such as “Let’s get together and feel all right” Bob Marley was trying to let us know as humans we need to unite with one another despite our cultural, political, and ethnic differences instead of being destructive. The use of these words also shared his spirituality. Though he was quite young, Marley was able to get through to people all over the world.

Purpose: To argue the symptoms of this virus.

Effectiveness: The effectiveness of this diagram lets people around the world to be aware of this recent epidemic. With this diagram even someone fairly young could even understand. The picture does a simple job of showing the possible symptoms to watch out for. Skin rashing, aching joints and difficulity breathing should have an individual making a trip to the doctor’s office. Because Ebola has become such a world wide top it is best for everyone to know about it and the picture does that.

A single golf clap? Or a long standing ovation?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
