Yes, absolutely — the main concern on the backend was to get code updates deployed and pushed to the front-end in under 1.5 seconds. Any more than that and our testing showed this really put users off. And of course, we had to make sure the system was efficient so it doesn’t become cost prohibitive to run, and couldn’t easily be exploited.
