Most companies focus on ‘access’ rewards in terms of exclusive offers (’s secret prices, Amazon’s Prime Day) or sales preview (Monki, ASOS), but I think there’s a lot more potential for app developers to offer actual content or features as rewards.

Also in terms of ‘power’, a great non-apps example I see is the Sam Harris podcast, which gives paying sponsors more of a say in shaping the list of his future podcast guests. He doesn’t limit access though as he wants his ideas to spread!
