Einstein’s gravitational waves breakthrough

In an attempt to understand gravity, scientists have discovered the warping of space-time generated by the collision of two black holes. It occured more than a billion light years away from Earth. This discovery has proved Albert Einstein’s theory of general relativity. This is the idea that massive objects cause a distortion in space-time, which is felt as gravity.
