Saturday was reserved for VIA, sienn. Ok so before VIA, went to meet my PW groupmates to discuss about what we’re gonna do. I think we’re just screwed for WR, 3000 words and we have not even started officially, only found information bits here and there. Only Wei Jien and Hong xiang turned up. Discussed over lunch, well had a little confusion over Chapt 2 I think? for the root causes of WR. Hongxiang tried explaining to me his way of doing it but I just couldn’t really understand what he was trying to get at, i’m just a little dumb x.x

So we met at like 2, when it was supposedly 1.30 but I was late :/ Discussed till 2.45 and started to leave the coffee shop where we had our lunch at around 2.50, initially wanted to take 198 from sci ctr to chi garden mrt, but WHAT HAPPENED?! ROAD BLOCKED BCUZ OF JURONGLAKERUN ☹ What did we do then? We walked from sci ctr to chi garden mrt, sorry weijien and hongxiang, I didn’t know the road was blocked, I thought they wouldn’t block that road, but… haish, I apologise for my faux pas again ☹

Reached chi garden mrt at like 3.05, saw everyone waiting beside the passenger service, oops :x but fortunately we’re not the latest, thr’s still Yushun. He’s one of my PW grp members btw, but he had tuition, oh well….

It was a really, really hot day, signed in for JLR2014, to be a volunteer, got my volunteer tee and goodie bag, why did I ask for XL, I looked as if I was wearing a Pyjamas I swear. So we set up our booth and suddenly a bunch of aunties chup inside, they were in charge of balloons, took all of our chairs sigh, leaving us with like less than 5 chairs, whattt…. But fortunately for us, we managed to borrow an air pump from them, to pump our baby pool with it and not with our mouths which can take > an hour. Glenmond said he himself took quite long :/ Nvm, then we set up the 2 games and time for business~

More and more people started to visit our booth and I enjoyed using the JLR chop, we were in the yellow zone and each time the participants came and after trying our game, we’re supposed to give them a chop on their card, idk what benefits they enjoy for having chops from 4 different zones but nvm. Used the chop to chop everyone in class hahahahahaha, just too bored. I’m just so kind to spare Wei Jien, so I successfully chopped on 14 other people, excluding me and weijien hahaha, bcuz only 16 turned up I think? Their dinner was like crap I swear, some inedible beehoon with nuggets and fishballs. Went to lepak after Glenmond they all came back from their dinner, we took shifts in man-ing the booth. Walked around the whole carnival w/ qt and the guys, while we listened to Brandon tell usabout meteorology.

Event ended at around 9pm and we started to pack up. They were playing the movie Turbo at the carnival btw, shld’ve slacked thr and watch :/ so that I don’t need to pack up :x packing up was troublesome, bcuz there was a hole in the soil bag caused by yushun, and we were supposed to put back the soil the committee provided us with into the soil bags, we didn’t had enough bags to place the soil, in the end we just emptied most of them into the bin :x There were many leftover Lifebuoy soaps, took some home hehe cuz glenmond said nobody wants it :x Yushun threw one into the lake, whatttttttt :x I pity the fishes, I really do.

After packing up and etc, we signed out and they gave us travel allowance, which we hesitated for a moment on whether we should accept them anot. It’s like $10/person, and cuz its a VIA, people with principles like Brandon refused it. Almost all of us took them cuz Glenmond asked if we would still receive VIA hours despite taking the travel allowance and the volunteers in charge said ‘Yes’. Went to dinner/supper with qt, andre and pierre at jp subway. Ok only I was eating, met andre beforehand at Chigarden MRT station and he passed me my bday present ❤ he bought what I needed and I felt a little guilty though, I didn’t bring his present :x So I said I will pass it to him on his bday, 23rd june, which was the upcoming Monday.

After tht pierre came overnight @ my hse, initially wanted to watch world cup but there weren’t any nice matches. Played xbox and blackjack till 5 :x Lost money sighh, $3.90 :@ That day I’m just so suayyyy.
