I completely agree about choosing your own belief without pressure from family members. A muslim coworker told me that her family would outcast her if she ever chose to marry a non-muslim man. Not what i call free choice. And this is someone who was born and raised in Western Europe. And a niece of mine fell in love with a muslim boy. They had a brief relationship, but it ended because of pressure from his family. Very sad.
