Who Am I?

My name is Michael Cook I am a proud Aboriginal and Seventh Day Adventist man, I was born in Armidale, NSW. I lived there until the age of 7 before moving to the Gold Coast where I spent most of my life; I’m exited to gain the knowledge of learning how to code/program and understanding how technology works.

To be honest becoming a teacher was the last thing to cross my mind when deciding what career path I wanted to venture on, this decision hit me in the early months of 2016; what really inspired me to become a teacher, was when I visited a 3rd world country for a school mission trip. Seeing how disadvantaged those families were inspired to make a change in wanting to help people in the world; so hoping I can take the Degree, to teach English over in Cambodia.

Thinking about the quote from Walt Disney has just opened doors for me, as showing we all have the willing to obtain a dream as long as we have the courage to pursue them. acuedu_p
