Dieting is not a solution. It can never be. Anything which is not sustainable is not a solution. I know of people who starve themselves to get in to that “perfect” shape.
With changing times lifestyle diseases are more common now. I think that could be one reason for people to try out different forms of workout to see what suits them the most. It’s a good thing that people are aware now.
I love running, always have. I love being active and if that means trying out different things then why not? It is any day better than doing nothing or worse whiling your time away.
