Sustainable organizations adapt continuously to their environment. There is a great opportunity today within established corporations to leverage the talent and experience from entrepreneurs. “Internal entrepreneurs” or, Intrapraneurs can be a key catalyst to lead this change inside of large organizations.

1. Winning teams are positive! They’re also flexible, responsive and agile.

Successful intrapraneur product teams learn how to balance between getting the job done, shipping progress quickly and responding to changes in the market brought about by competition or by the company’s new capabilities … and successfully manage stakeholder expectations. This can be enabled through a few frameworks — such as “theme based problem solving” and user stories. For example, our product teams write user stories (As a type of user, I want to do this job so that I can receive this benefit) for all ideas and we load all stories into a backlog queue to be served up to the engineering teams at the start of each development sprint.
