I completely agree with Tasnim because men and women are treated differently especially in the work place. To this day, men and women don’t get paid equally even if they have the same position/occupation and work the same hours. I’m definitely sure that there are women interested in the STEM field that don’t get hired because of their gender, and it’s sad to think that as a STEM interested student, I will eventually have to face the disadvantages of being female. As a former gender studies student, we discussed this specific topic in class, and we as a country is still struggling in the equal treatment of gender in the workplace (which is sad because it’s been long overdue).
