The lazy man’s guide to action

PART 1

One could say there are many levels of laziness and even ways of being lazy. To categorize them seems useless and boring, so one is not going to do that. One is more interested in describing one particular way of being lazy and create the basic framework or guide to assist those who hope to escape it if so is their wish.

One desires to build and use it because one and his family are in desperate need of one — one that works!

One is lazy like one when one takes action in only one of two ways:

1 — when the action requires no resistance, that is when action is pleasurable or feels like a good way to spend time at that particular moment.

2 — when one is trapped, like a cat in a dead end looking at the drooling dirty street dogs. It’s the situation where no level of smart or desperate mental or physical attempts of escape is possible, one will do what one doesn’t feel like it, and the world is a dark place.

That is to say, this kind of lazy only moves on the extremes — the easiest situation or the hardest. Everything in between is like a familiar voice a man hears in his deep state of coma.

One hopes this description was clear. Now to the help guide!

One doesn’t know a way of transforming something one doesn’t feel like doing to something one can’t wait to do. So one is only going to address the second way of taking action previously described.

That leaves one with only one possible solution for any kind of help — one needs to provoke a desperate, inescapable situation for the self. For that to happen one will have to watch one conspire the means of his own unhappiness, so one may only be able to do it when one’s laziness has taken one‘ s life to a general state of trouble.

If there is one out there like one, lazy and desperate, be free to join this. I make no promises, I just hope something happens.

One is rikdo.

NOTE: rikdo is Portuguese and is living in Germany. rikdo never lived in a place where the mother tongue was English, but one loves the language and tries his best. If you want to grammatically advise rikdo, you can.
