Al-Ula City
Al-Ula city considered one of the most historical cities in Saudi Arabia. It’s located in Medina Region and in northwestern Saudi Arabia. The population of the city around 6 thousand. It contains the first UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saudi Arabia and it’s called Madain Saleh. It was built more than 2000 years ago. it traces of the civilization of the Nabataeans, the people of the Prophet Saleh. Nearby are the ancient railway station, known as the Hijaz Line, which was built by the Ottomans in the past When you go to this place, you will realize how the Nabataeans were great people. Because with the old tools, they built one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman patronized the ceremony of launching the Vision for Al-Ula last February. Now, Saudi Arabia starting issuing Visa for tourism to visit this place. Also, a lot of restaurants were bullied around the place. In addition to that, The Royal Commission has launched an international scholarship program, which helps citizens Youth of Al-Ula to study in the United States, the United Kingdom or France in fields that relate to the development plans for Al-Ula. Furthermore, last December 2018 there was “Winter at Tantora” festival. This was a musical festival that many Arabic and Italian singers came to sing. The concerts were performed in Maraya concert hall.
Finally, In my modest opinion, I think that everybody has to come and visit this wonderful place and enjoy one of the most heritage sites in the world.
