Hey, great piece. Really enjoyed it. Like you, I was really unimpressed with this campaign. Though I’m not anti-capitalist, it seems like a desperate and disingenuous attempt to pander to left-leaning consumers.
I didn’t even think the execution was particularly good. ‘Believing in something’ doesn’t demand ‘sacraficing’ anything. The headline doesn’t make that much sense. And it’s a picture of somebody who has in fact sacraficed little — and probably made a crap load of money off Nike.
