[SOCIAL] — The gender gap around the world
How is the gender gap across the world ? Do Occidental countries are really above the average ? An must of all, on which criterion is gender equity most challenged ?
I return to this survey, by the World Economic Forum. The data source is available from 2007 to 2022. This provides an unprecedented view of women’s place in society per countries and opportunity to compare.
Although we have to take into account that data availability and quality are not the same, let’s take a look at a few criteria of one indicator per social analysis typology presented :
