India’s great captain MS Dhoni achieved all that in his career. In 2004, Dhoni made his debut in international cricket but MS Dhoni was out in his first match without scoring any runs. He has played 90 Tests, 350 ODIs and 98 T20 Internationals so far in his career.

Under Dhoni’s captaincy, India succeeded in winning the T20 World Cup, ICC Champions Trophy and World Cup titles. Dhoni made history by making India the world champion for the second time after 28 years under his captaincy.

In his career, Dhoni has also made many unique records.

1.The most stumping wicketkeeper

While people talk a lot about MS Dhoni’s captaincy and his batting, his wicket-keeping often goes under the radar. But, the fact is that his wicket-keeping, particularly against the spinners, has been as good as anyone in the last 10 years.

He is so good with his glove-work and hardly ever misses a stumping opportunity.

Dhoni has got a total of 195 stumping dismissals in international cricket so far which is the most by any wicket-keeper in world cricket.

2.Fastest stumping wicketkeeper

MS Dhoni is the only w icket-keeper in the world whose gloves don’t go back at all when he collects the ball and the fact, that his gloves don’t back with the force of the ball, gives him that extra split second to get the batsman out faster than anyone else.

Dhoni baffled Mitchell Marsh off a stumping by Rahul Sharma by collecting the ball behind the wickets and took the bails off in lightning speed.

He managed to dislodge the bails in 0.09 seconds and set the record for the quickest stumping in history of cricket. It was simply remarkable and outstanding.

3.Who have scored the most runs in ODIs at number 6.

Dhoni (MS Dhoni) is the highest run-scorer at number 6 in ODIs. Dhoni has played a total of 126 innings in ODIs at number 6 and has scored 4031 runs during this period.

Which includes 1 century and 29 half-centuries. While batting at number 6, Dhoni has also played an innings of 139 not out. In 2013, Dhoni scored an unbeaten 139 against Australia in Mohali ODI.This is the third highest score by a batsman at number 6. In this case, the first number is Kapil Dev.

Kapil played an unbeaten 175-run innings at number 6 against Zimbabwe in the 1983 World Cup.

The second in the list is Michael Bevan with 3006 runs. Among the active players, Jos Buttler comes after Dhoni and he is miles behind at the moment as he has got just 1977 runs at no. 6 in 64 innings at an average of 37.30.

4.Captained in most number of T20 World Cups.

MS Dhoni has captained India in every T20 World Cup that has been played so far. While India won the inaugural edition of the tournament in 2007,

they reached the final in 2014 and the semi-final in 2016. In the T20 World Cup of 2014, India reached the final without losing a single game,

but they had one bad day in the final and they couldn’t win the tournament.
