Purple glasses put aside, yes he had some great numbers but he shot a lot as well (meaning low fg%), yes, he carried his team on his shoulders and Kyrie & Love aren’t nobody’s either.

But the point you’re mostly overlooking that this wasn’t the same team that won the regular season with a new record, it was a shell of it. Biggest choke ever in the NBA!

So yes, he deserved the win, he deserved the MVP and his effort was truly great. But that still all doesn’t take away his super inflated ego and his asshole behaviour. That’s why he’s not worshipped by the majority of NBA fans, other than you obviously.
