Life of Korean middle school student (Seoul, Korea)
November 1, 2019.
I’m Lee Do Hun. I was born in South Korea and I’m 14-year-old (Korean age) or 13 (international age). I live with my family and have a young sister. I lived in Korea all of my life. Therefore, let me introduce life of a 14-year old boy. I usually get up at 8 clock. The school starts at 8:30. Readers may ask.
How can it be possible in 30 minutes to eat breakfast, wash up and change clothes and walk to school. But it can be possible for me. Because my home is close to school: about five minutes on foot. The school has 7 periods. Each period is 45 minutes and break time is 10 minutes.
Some of my classmates say the school is hell but I think it is all right. After school, I return home and take some snacks and go to English academy. It starts 5:00 and finish at 7:30pm. And I return home again and eat dinner and play a game named Mobile Battleground. Honestly, it is the most interesting thing in my life. This is end for now, more later!

I watched a movie with my friends who are in my middle school. The movie was named Terminator. We bought tickets. But the movie started too late so we waited in the library. When I entered the theater room, I was excited. The movie was quite fun. Others said the same. Afterwards, we went to Burger king. It was so delicious that I could order more. We also went to coffee shop and played games. That was fun as well. At the end of the night, we promised to see Frozen II together.
November 14, 2019. Today was the Korea’s college entrance day. Middle and most high school students didn’t go school because we could make too much noise and both exam takers (high school seniors). Therefore, I and my friends met. we did many things. One was bowling. Near school was bowling center. I’m usually good at bowling, so I won all the games. Next, we ate chicken. It was awesome. And we went arcade. There, we played baseball game. There is a good baseball player so he won. we ate deserts. It was hot cocoa and was so sweet. It was such a fun day. We wished we could always skip school like that!
November 22, 2019. My sister’s friend will go to Australia. Therefore, she asked, “Will you take care of my dog for 3 years?’’ My sister likes dog, so she said, “Yes’’. And my whole family agreed. The dog is 11 years old, or 77years old in human age. The dog Coco is old…. so I worried a little but when she came to my house, she was cute and mild. The dog and I made a companionship. It was my first time taking care of the dog. It was hard but it became better. All our family love the dog.
These days in Korea, people are boycotting Japanese products. In my case, I used to buy Japanese writing supplies as they are strong and good to write. But now I am not buy them. Instead of them, I have bought Korea products such as Morning glory. I am not sure why we are boycotting but it’s supposed to be important, according to Korea newspaper. IN my case, I collect many
November 29, 2019. The World’s Greatest Tteok-bokki. In school, we had Tteok-bokki(Korean Spicy Rice Cake) because we wanted to celebrate end of the school year. Therefore, our teacher delivered it to our school. It is loved by everyone. We made groups. Each group has four members. After we thanked our teacher, we all opened the T-b package. It was both spicy and tasty. Also, we ordered balls of rice. Thereafter, we put them on the Tteok-bokki soup. We took many pictures of Tteok-bokki. I uploaded them on my Facebook stories. The teacher said, “Help yourselves”. It was really delicious. I thought it was the greatest Tteok-bokki in my life.
