“So basically, if I’m reading this right, you don’t like and don’t care about my opinion. That’s admissible, but not a reason for me to stop sharing my opinion.”
Incorrect, I’ve stated the game developers we’re not thinking about political affiliations when it comes to pleasing the “politically correct” crowd, whether the characters are male/female/trans. You’ve turned a game to fit your narrative for the political left movement.
“But I’d like to note that one reason why you’ve probably never thought about gender is because you’re a guy?”
Again, incorrect — you’re assuming many things but none has been correct.
“Society has favored men throughout history, and men have never been the gender subjected to systematic oppression. So perhaps you could learn from someone who has?”
Is this another feminazi propaganda ?? How many civilizations have you lived through to come to a conclusion such as that? How hasn’t men become oppressed with the feminazi propaganda in the western civilization ?
When married couples 90% of the divorce are initiated through women and end up losing more than they came into the marriage with; such as alimony where men are forced to pay thousands each month for child support when most of the money goes to the women’s livelyhood.
That’s just one example —a real feminist would be fighting for women’s right in regions where there are NONE, Malala Yousafzai took a bullet in the head where she was fighting for women’s right in Pakistan — compared that to the spoiled western women who demands special rights opposed to equal rights.
Comparing the western countries to those such as Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan, Morroco for example you’ll understand why people can’t taken western feminazis seriously.
“How would you personally feel if 95% of film superheroes were women?”
You mean how all superhero movies consist of muscled up white men? As an Asian myself, where most of the Asian roles been cast to White people — we’ve been tackling these issues since day one and frankly I don’t care. It’s hollywood, the executives decides on what would bring them the most money. You go to Asia — you’d see most or in fact all the roles been cast to Asians, why would people complain about diversity ? It’s region specific.
“Would you care about gender if big movie heroes omitted men from kicking ass?”
Honestly, you’re just asking very stupid questions — I highly suggest you should watch the interview with Cathy Newman with Jordan Peterson on how feminazis should not present themselves.
“Viewers often don’t feel represented when they cannot identify with the gender/ethnicity/demographics of the main characters. Women should have heroes that they can identify with, and make them feel empowered, just as men do.”
This is somewhat complex as it’s more emotional than logical. If I look at a superhero movie, tv show etc I don’t get worked up if I see someone who “resembles” me on the big screen. I honestly don’t care, I didn’t care when the main character Ripley was a bad ass female for Aliens — this feeling of empowerment just because you can relate to a character in a fictional story / media is shortsighted
I’ve got through life without feeling like I’m being made a victim and became quite successful, there are many women has achieved higher levels of success — have advanced their careers along with their lives. The difference is, they weren’t going around making themselves feel like a victim like you are.
Now before you go off on another emotional tantrum, rambling on about “female empowerment” — have you ever though there are far more complicated issues in the world that requires solutions. I guess that’s the difference between us. I think logically whereas you’re prioritizing your emotional needs — hence why I’m not creating a diatribe of “majority of hollywood movie casting white men is making me feel insignificant”.
