ShopClues is the worst e-commerce website out there…

I recently went through the unfortunate experience of buying items on ShopClues. And God, do I regret it.

Flipkart’s BigBillionDay had suddenly made me see this whole array of e-commerce websites out there. They were always there, and I did know about them, but somehow, I chose to ignore them. I started checking Amazon, SnapDeal and well, ShopClues.

So here’s what happened. A friend of mine suggested me to look at ShopClues. They were selling these high-end Beats Headphones at a discount of of around 98%. I was like — “Wahhhttt??” I immediately checked them out. And I was dead surprised.

I searched around for reviews of ShopClues. Some of them said that the items they ship are fake and defective. But I went ahead and ordered these headphones. Here is the product page on their website.

I did a thorough scan then and nowhere on this page did it say, that it’s a replica, or Beats is not the actual brand of this item. But now, it does.

I know it’s a little hard to believe me on this, and it just seems that I did not look around; but do check out these pages. They do not say that the product is a replica; but I am pretty sure I know what you will get if you ordered one.

There are some places where they do mention that the item is a replica or something like the brand is “OEM”, but they don’t on a lot of pages.

So yesterday, my shipment arrived. I open the box to see a fake box and a fake Headset. Not only that, the right earpiece was detached from the headset and only hanging through a couple of wires.

They go on to mention the actual price of the product. Read — 33,000. Seriously?? And this is what I found on the box.

I suggest them to do a better job if they are trying to make a fool of us.

My friend ordered similar headphones. He ordered two. The box said that there were two in the parcel but he received only one! And the one he received was damaged. At-least mine was working!

This website is openly selling conterfeit items and marketing them to be original. Not only that, they are the biggest liars I know. I am pretty sure people who have their first e-commerce experience with ShopClues will not dare buy anything online ever again.

P.S. I do wonder what they do in their quality check. It takes weeks for them to clear those.
