ToriPunks Comic Book Burning Event! 🔥

INTRODUCTION

PROPOSAL 3 has passed with an overwhelming majority! Toripunks DAO proposes to end the Early Punks Game and merge the Early Punks Wallet with the Punks Game Wallet starting on the 7th of December 2023. This means that this will put an end to the Comic Book reward system and that wallet will merge with the Punks Game wallet ( Russian Roulette, Gigantic lotto) increasing it by almost 50% and bringing additional value to the ToriPunks.

To compensate Comic Book holders, the DAO voted on a redemption plan that will commence immediately, follow steps below to start the process.

How will it work ?

The redemption plan will commence today, December 7th 2023 and will be broken down into TWO phases, Full set holders first and single Comic Book holders second. The claiming process will be open indefinitely to all holders.

PHASE 1: Full set holders redemption plan

The first phase will involve full Comic Book set holders and will be dealt on a first come first serve basis. Each full set is entitled to 1 ToriPunk. Here is how you will proceed:

1- Send Comic Books to this address: tori1g2nuu04v4ckhvknuadudcwz7dpefftzuud9839

and make sure to write in the memo field the number of the Comic Book sent (1–2–3–4–5) and that it comes from the same wallet address so we don’t count it as a single unit.

Please note: This process may take several months depending on how many active users are still active and depending on how fast the DAO can sweep ToriPunks to compensate all holders.

PHASE 2: Single Comic Book redemption plan

The second phase will involve single Comic Book holders and will be dealt with once the full set holders are compensated. Each single Comic Book will be a raffle ticket for a 1 in 10 chance of winning a ToriPunk. Here is how you will proceed and please take note this address is different than the address for the Full Comic Book sets:

and no need to write a memo for this phase.

Please note: This phase will be dealt with once the full set holders are compensated but you may send your single Comic Books immediately and will be stored for whenever the draw happens.

CONCLUSION

These proposed changes aim to fortify the ToriPunks ecosystem’s sustainability, ensuring a fair and value-driven environment for our community. The community’s feedback and sentiments have played an integral part in drafting these proposals, emphasizing our commitment to transparency and collective decision-making.

The Comic Books received from this event will be burned once the feature gets added on Teritori. The secondary market will remain open for the Comic Books and the claiming process will remain open indefinitely.

The Comic Books sent will remain in the DAO wallets until Teritori introduces the burning NFT feature.
