Well, if you are aligned with Nestlé’s special projects and are hungry to reshape a 150 year old company you now have the opportunity to find out. I had the chance to spend time with Nestlé’s leadership at the Henri@Nestlé announcement event last, the event was at their extremely stylish space on the Swissnex Pier in San Francisco. The event exemplified the future of large multi-national innovation, a focus on partnerships to bring rapid innovation inward and a willingness to catalyze solutions to the stickiest challenges to spur growth.

Nestlé’s Henri Platform is a co-creation tool that allows the iterative development and sharing of ideas based on the companies chosen challenges. From an innovation stand point, the goal here is to understand and develop ways to create new innovation supply chain internally, bringing knowledge capital from outside to reframe or iterate and leverage the expertise and market driven acumen of internal resources. …

The Mixing Bowl curated yet another incredible event, bringing together venture capital, foundations, founders, and experts who are creating the future of food. At this years’ FoodIT Summit, the goal was to deepen collaboration and look at potential solutions of new technologies.

It was a lively event, that had pitches from entrepreneurs, to panels that focused on what incumbent organizations are doing to sustain our food system. Ultimately, this summit provide the place for convergence, and what we can do to provide the platform-level change in the food system to create a more verdant world.
