To understand this difference is a bit confusing because it’s very complex to predict how interested is more important than interesting. But after reading thoroughly the 1st chapter of the book “How to win friends and influence people” by dale Carnegie I quoted the statement given below which helped me clearing my thoughts regarding “interested” and “interesting”

“We are interested in others when they are interested in us”

The best example in this book is “”As the day went on, I became overwhelmed with the feeling of loneliness, despair and fear — — — — — until I finally fell asleep. This example is also in the favor of interested

So, there are many examples in this book which support the title interested rather than interesting but the main task is to implement this example in our lives when communicating with others and get the desired results.
I started with my friend who has completed his bachelor in Geology from Karachi university enquiring him about his job interview which he gave two days ago. He was not satisfied with the interview because of his failure. He got rejected for the second time which made him disappointed. After sharing his feelings, he was relaxed and told his future goals which he aims to achieve. he was glad after telling his future plans

The next person was my sister she is a medical student, she was preparing for her final exams but answered my questions with excitement. She talked about her future endeavors with positive attitude.

Best lines I quoted from book,

If you want others to like you, if you want to develop real friendships, if you want to help others at the same time as you help yourself, keep this principle in mind:

” Principle 1 Become genuinely interested in other people.”

These are amazing titles which I have never heard before.
