In a Recent conference Rahul Gandhi publicly took on the government saying “Demonitisation was not a mistake in fact it was an assault on people”.

Mr Rahul reminding this to us is nothing but a nostalgia of the havoc the people went through. The philosophy of “Demonitisation” which was set up to end black money has backfired heavily if one closely studies the statistics. Heavy investements were already made by the people who possessed black money and have slowly and steadily gained their returns in white.

It was rumoured that the news of Demonitisation was spread to many before its existence and perhaps it gave the opportunity for the illegal riches to invest their black and get it converted to white money

The statistics prove that 99% of the money has returned to the market. Hence it is questionable that for what did the nation struggled so much?

Forget about standing in queues for hours, many have lost their business permanently and all that for a no result flop show.

If we compare the routines of the rich and the poor pre and post demonitisation era, the rich were more active before demonitisation while the poor were more active post application, even the employees at the banks forgot about whats a holiday such was the scenes.

The havoc was extended upto an extent that people gave up and brutally started abusing the Prime

minister publicly with the help of social media,

With all this analysis one can question that what was demonitisation actually?

Was it really set up to end the black money ?

Or was it to make the rich richer and make the poor poorer?

It is now that the common man is raising questions but this was a strategy/business in the making and one has to be aware of many such expected strategies keeping the upcoming elections in mind. The effect of such strategies are nation wide
Demonitisation had a lasting effect on Indiaans MSMEs ( Medium small and micro enterprises ) various medium and small enterprises turned towards digitalization however the micro industries were effect by the worst of wrath, The micro industry owners were not a part of the black economy and they were clearly unprepared for the effects of demonitisation.

There are many such issues that easily suggests that Demonitisation was indeed a flop show.
