Personality types based on MBTI (Myers-Briggs Test Indicator):

MBTI is an inventory used to diagnose personality types based on preferences and strengths across four crucial scales.

  1. Extroverts and Introverts: Extroverts tend to be more social and enjoy being around others. They feel energized after spending time with people and like to be out in the world. On the other hand, introverts prefer deep and meaningful connections with others. They feel energized after spending time alone and are often deep thinkers.
  2. Sensing and Intuition: This scale tells us about people and how they react in various situations. It determines whether they rely on their gut feelings or their senses. The MBTI tells us that sensing individuals use a more practical and fact-based approach, which is determined by their senses. They are dominant in looking at details. On the other hand, those who prefer intuition over their senses tend to analyze changes in behavior and use their thinking to gather possibilities about a situation. They might also make future predictions based on their thinking.
  3. Thinking and feeling: This scale measures how people make decisions based on the information they gather from their senses or intuition. People who prefer thinking base their decisions on facts and data and are consistent and logical in their decision-making. On the other hand, individuals who prefer feeling over thinking consider other people and their emotions when making a decision.
  4. Judging and Perceiving: This is a scale that helps us understand how people approach the outside world. Those who prefer judging tend to be more rigid and firm in their decision-making, while individuals who perceive are more open and flexible in their approach to decision-making. Both of these traits also apply to other scales.
