Designing a Online food ordering app

Food is everybody’s need, but nowadays beacuse of busy schedule of people, sometimes it becomes impossible to cook food at home or going to restaurant, so this problem can be solved by this easy and simple app which can bring your food at your home or whereever you are without much efforts.

Online food ordering app can most be beneficial for any body who wants food urgently and quickly.

Research

According to latest survey, 70% consumers prefer ordering food online and want it delivered. And it is expected that the number of users in online food delivery industry will reach to 2656 million by the year 2026.

Results i got when i used my compititor’s food app, that i have to focus on following key points-

• App should be user friendly and fast.
• There should be proper options like cancel, save or buy etc.
• Price should be started from minimum to maximum.
• Delivery should be fast and free delivery should be available as possible or delivery charges should be less.
• User can contact delivery boy easily.
• Ordered item should be good quality and right item should be delivered.

These are some design variations of welcome screen

In the cart screen as shown in above image, i have put save and add to cart option on the item so that user can save the items if they do not want to buy them at that time.

I have put the pin option in the wishlist so that it will save the time of user as user does not need to scroll down or search the item once they pinned it in wishlist.

It took me 2 weeks to complete this project as i tried to make this app simple and easy to use, so i hope you will like this app and its’ designs.
