While I recognize that online viewing is difficult to get right, this really was a conundrum for me. I resorted to pirating the live streams and I got every single sport, an excellent schedule of the entire games, and the ability to pick and choose what I wanted to watch. Not even any ads — just a straightup feed!
Sure, I pirated, but I would have been happy to pay 50 or even 60 dollars for access to this. The fact is, I couldn’t have gotten access anywhere, even with payment. It simply doesn’t exist. So instead of getting some revenue from me, they got none.
This isn’t posturing — I would pay that amount because the Olympics are important to me and I love watching them. Too bad NBC can’t figure that bit out.
