I was 6 years old when as a moral lesson my grandma educates me about how to respect the “DIFFERENCE” whether it is Gender, Religion, Success or Failure, Financial status, Social status, Animal, the color of the skin or anything that exists in a different way in this universe. The lesson was so much engrossed in me that I started paying respect to the adverse habits also. The incidence that affected me not because I respect someone’s an adverse habit but he has the power of understanding and acceptance of people with humility

It was an exhausting morning and the day’s schedule was sucking too. Due to the network issues, I failed in getting cost-effective logistics to reach my destination. Suddenly I heard a voice that can resolve my problem. Having not much noticed, I accepted his offer to travel in an auto-rickshaw on a sharing basis with another passenger to my destination.

As we started our travel, I realized that the single man, driver, has solutions for the problems of two different strangers traveling together. One by one both of us were interrogating man about duration, destination charges, etc. suddenly, he stopped the auto-rickshaw and offered tea to two of us. My co-passenger was a passionate smoker the then who has turned to be a sweet and harmonious friend now.

He, with paying full respect, started smoking outside the vehicle understanding the smoke with his every puff may prove troublesome to me.

As a matter of fact, I was in a hurry and I allowed him to smoke while traveling. This gesture of his shaken me a little and I felt fortunate that how people understand and accept others to which I felt “Respect”.

Though, I am also in favor of using “TAR” for roads instead of collecting them in LUNGS. But, such an esteemed puff sometimes gives a heavenly influence as well.

But to conclude, “Smoking is not injurious to friendship”.
