COVID Vaccination Outreach (2021)

AAPI FORCE-EF partners joined the Healthy Future California campaign efforts with California Calls to ensure that Asian American and Pacific Islander communities throughout the state have the information, assistance, and access to get vaccination appointments.

For the Healthy Future CA campaign, we hired 24 community outreach organizers to call and knock on doors.

Together, Asian Pacific Environmental Network, Chinese Progressive Association, Filipino Advocates for Justice, Jakara Movement, Pilipino Workers Center, and VietRISE reached more than 15,200 people in Cantonese, Mandarin, Punjabi, Tagalog, Vietnamese, and English.

Through their conversations, 240 vaccination appointments were successfully set up!

We’re thankful our community outreach organizers ensured that AAPI communities throughout the state had the information, assistance, and access to get vaccination appointments.
