Ravi- I have used the 16:8, 18:6, and have done periodic full day fasts. In the past I have been a part of the group of IFers who skip breakfast and eat late lunches and dinners. I used this along with changing my diet to lose over 30lbs, increase my strength and energy, along with simplifying my life. I also tend to have much better focus and productivity while I’m in a fasted state. Currently I am trying to start my eating period earlier in the day to match my circadian clocks and am finding that to be rewarding personally, but difficult socially.
